IT Assistant at the Dean’s office of the Catholic Theological Faculty, University of Vienna: At the Faculty of Catholic Theology, we are looking for an EDP supervisor in the amount of 20 hours / week. The central task of the advertised position is the supervision of the entire IT department of the faculty. Payment is made according to the classification in the universal collective agreement in VwGr IIIa. For the time being, the position is limited to 1 year, and a permanent employment contract is possible.
Duration of the contract: 1 year / s
Employment: 20 hours / week.
Classification according to collective agreement: §54 VwGr. IIIa In addition, creditable work experience can determine the classification and thus the remuneration.
The advertised position is assigned to the Dean’s Office of the Catholic Theological Faculty, the workplace is located in the institute building Schenkenstraße 8-10. Your area of responsibility includes the following areas:
– First level support of facultative IT (device support, network administration) – Purchase of new hardware and software – Configuration, installation and support of the faculty hardware and software equipment (PC workstations, laptops, media technology, seminar room equipment) – Communication between faculty and Central Computer Science Service of the University of Vienna – Network Administration – MS Exchange – CMS Systems (typo 3).
very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, system knowledge Windows / Linux / OS X, network knowledge, PC hardware knowledge, programming language skills (PHP, Java Script, SQL), experience with MS Exchange, IT work experience
