We are looking to appoint a clinical research fellow to lead a grant-funded project looking at lung function in infants with cystic fibrosis. You must hold a medical degree and be in a training programme for paediatric medicine (ST4 or above) and have prior experience in respiratory paediatrics and preferably an intention to specialise in this area. Will be expected to recruit children 0-3yrs, to administer and supervise light sedation for the purpose of lung function monitoring, and to perform multiple breath washout tests. Study will take place at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Relevant training will be provided. You will be expected to register for an MD with the University of Manchester and to submit a thesis at the end of the employment. Full details available in the job description.
