Applicants are invited for the role of Research Assistant to work on an exciting new research project funded by the British Academy. The project will investigate contextual effects on memory retrieval using EEG brain recording.

You will work closely with the PI, Dr Alex Kafkas, and will be responsible for participants’ recruitment, EEG/ERP data collection and analysis and the preparation of manuscripts for publication.

You will have a BSc in Psychology or a related discipline (2:1 or higher), and ideally a master degree (or equivalent) in Psychology/Neuroscience. Previous experience with EEG data collection and analysis is highly desirable. Understanding or previous experience of memory research topics will be an advantage.

The post is available on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE) for 6 months and the anticipated start date will be as soon as possible.
