This is an opportunity for candidates with training in economic evaluation for the post of Research Associate in Health Economics.

Based in the Manchester Centre for Health Economics, You will be line-managed by Rachel Elliott, Professor of Health Economics.

Your role will principally involve:

  • design and conduct of prospective economic evaluations;
  • design and conduct of decision-analytic model based economic evaluations;
  • analysing economic data collected from existing large-cohort studies.

You should have a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience) in health economics, with knowledge of prospective and decision analytic model-based economic evaluation.

Experience of the design of decision analytic model-based economic evaluations and a proven track record of publications in high quality journals is desirable. Knowledge of large administrative datasets, in particular, together with experience of working in a multidisciplinary research team would be advantageous.
