The University of Manchester invites applications for the post of Research Fellow in Health Economics. The post is available on a fixed term basis from 1 December 2017 to 31 August 2019 in the first instance.
This position is based in the Manchester Centre for Health Economics. The role is funded by a grant from the European Commission on integrated care for people with multi-morbidity. It will involve the use of programme evaluation techniques to assess the cost-effectiveness of integrated care programmes and the design and evaluation of payment models for integrated care. You will be line-managed by Matt Sutton, Professor of Health Economics.
You will need a PhD or equivalent experience in applied health research with a substantial quantitative element. You will also need to demonstrate a track-record of publications in high-quality journals and experience in the application of programme evaluation techniques to large survey and/or administrative datasets. Knowledge of integrated care models is desirable.
