Applications are invited for the part time post of Senior Clinical Teacher to support our teaching in Optometry. You will make a significant teaching contribution to the optometry degree programmes offered by the university: BSc (Hons) in Optometry, and Master of Optometry.  You will deliver teaching through a variety of means including clinical practicals, small group tutorials and ‘e-learning’ initiatives, and will be expected to innovate in each of these areas.  There may also be a requirement to teach on related initiatives such as Continuing Professional Development modules or the taught Master of Science degree in Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences. You will work alongside full-time academics and visiting staff to contribute to all aspects of teaching including course design, development of teaching materials, delivery, assessment and administration.

Applicants must have a degree (or equivalent) in optometry and be currently registered with the General Optical Council to practice in the UK.
