Applications are invited for a Clinical Lectureship in Experimental Medicine – Clinical Pharmacology, within the Department of Medicine, Division of Experimental Medicine and Immunotherapeutics. This forms part of the School of Clinical Medicine’s Experimental Medicine Training Initiative in partnership with strategic industrial partners and the Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre. This particular post offers an unrivalled opportunity to undertake high quality Experimental Medicine research within an outstanding academic and clinical environment, and to work closely with AstraZeneca/MedImmune on innovative clinical research in the area of respiratory disease. Applicant should have a proven track record in experimental medicine, or clinical trials – ideally in the area of respiratory medicine.
Applicants must be medically qualified, have full GMC registration, and already hold or have submitted a PhD/DPhil/MD. Ideally they should have completed Core Medical Training and have MRCP or equivalent. The post will be eligible for an NTN in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Dual training with Respiratory Medicine is available.
This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract.
