Assistant Professor of Social Work: £35,550 – £47,722 per annum

Associate Professor of Social Work: £50,618 – £60,410 per annum

Professor of Social Work: Salary will be within the Professorial range, minimum £60,410 per annum

Applications are invited to join the social work team in the School of Sociology & Social Policy at the University of Nottingham. We will consider an appointment at any level – Assistant, Associate or full Professor, depending on relevant knowledge, skills and experience. The successful candidate will provide teaching and undertake research within the School’s Centre for Social Work and more generally across the School. The Centre for Social Work offers HCPC-accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and is an active member of the D2N2 Social Work Teaching Partnership.

Candidates should experience of both teaching and research related to social work at an appropriate level for the position they are applying for. The University of Nottingham is a global university with an excellent record for its teaching and research and we are ranked no. 1 for social work in the Complete University Guide 2018. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent research experience.
