- £35550 to £47722 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
We are looking for an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering whose expertise lies in experimental soil element testing and/or numerical and constitutive modelling.

You will be able to carry out the academic duties to the highest standard and to evidence how, through your personal experience and background, you will be able to:
· Plan and deliver high quality taught modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in geotechnical engineering
· Conduct your own original research
· Supervise researchers and final year UG & PG students
· Create a bold strategy for your research and show how it will benefit from, and bring benefit to, interaction with your colleagues in geotechnical research
