- £35550 to £47722 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
Applications are invited for a part-time, fixed-term role as part of the University of Nottingham’s Rights Lab, which is delivering research to help end contemporary slavery. The role-holder will work across multiple Rights Lab teams, collaborating with Nottingham staff members on research, impact and grant submissions. In order to maximize the possibilities for collaborative and team-based work, candidate should bring at least two of the following areas of expertise: contemporary slaveholders and their motivations; the narratives of contemporary slavery survivors; the use of technology by antislavery movements; contemporary slavery and debt bondage in India. The role-holder should already have a strong portfolio of publications for REF2021, for submission with the School of Sociology and Social Policy. Candidate should have a track record of securing research income. The role will not require any teaching or administrative responsibilities.
The post is available on a part-time 0.25FTE, fixed-term basis from January 2018 until July 2021.
