Job Type
£29799 to £38833 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for a Research Fellow post to work as part of a project on wind resource assessment.

The project offers a pioneering research in fluid mechanics & wind energy. The research will concentrate on developing novel adjoint based algorithms and conducting large-scale numerical simulations of atmosphere boundary layer flow at the micro-scale (<2 km).

The successful applicant will be situated in the Engineering Faculty, Nottingham University. The research will be conducted jointly with scientists from wind energy industry. The collaborative nature of the project will improve the employability of the candidate and enhance career prospects in both Academia and in Industry.

This position is based on a full time, fixed-term contract for a period of 10 months.
