This role

An opening has arisen for a Developer to join the IT Applications Digital Services team. You will be responsible for providing application support, development and maintenance for SharePoint (On Prem and Online) and Office 365 solutions. You will have at least 5 years SharePoint experience, with strong knowledge of SharePoint Development as well as Front End Developer experience. You will also have experience in SharePoint Migrations.

Working closely with Business Users, you will be an excellent communicator and able to understand end-user requirements. With support from senior colleagues, you will work to define, design and implement solutions and bug-fixes. The ability to support customers is essential, with the opportunity to work across a wide customer base throughout the University.

Essential Knowledge in:

  • SharePoint 2010/Online
  • CSOM
  • JSOM
  • HTML5
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • PowerShell

Additionally, desirable knowledge in:

  • Office 365 Applications
  • Azure
  • JQuery
  • C#.Net
  • Agile methodology
