The Research Assistant (Communications) will support the development, demonstration, and dissemination of strategies to optimise the depolymerisation process. The successful appointee will be responsible for logging project management documents, managing data / file transfer and storage, including data transformation and exchange with the pilot facility in China as well as communicating project outcomes and supporting the lab and pilot scale experiments.
The successful applicant will possess qualifications and training equivalent to an undergraduate degree in Material Science/ Chemistry or equivalent combinations of relevant experience and / or education/ training. You will be experienced in contributing towards research programs particularly industry-focused research and preferably have
Knowledge of pre-treatment of wood and plastics, and of catalytic depolymerisation.

This role is a part-time, fixed-term position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
This is a part time, fixed-term appointment for 3 years (0.5FTE) at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $37,103 – $39,982 pro rata p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $43,411 – $46,779 pro rata p.a.).
