Scholarship Description
This scholarship is to help transgender students with education-related expenses while pursuing a degree or certificate from an accredited college, university, or technical / vocational program with a satellite campus or permanent presence in Kent County, MI. This award is open to people of any age who identify as transgender (including non-binary, two-spirit, third gender, transsexual, and/or any other non-cis gender identity) and who demonstrate financial need. Student privacy is respected. We will not share any identifying information without the applicant’s written permission. What is the GRTF Academic Scholarship?
This scholarship fund is to help transgender students with education-related expenses while pursuing a degree or certificate from an accredited college, university, or technical / vocational program with a satellite campus or permanent presence in Kent County, MI.

The 2018-2019 scholarship cycle is currently closed. The 2019-2020 scholarship cycle will open on January 1, 2019.
