Given the increasing interest in education leadership and digital education this Leadership and Digital Education program offered by University of Leeds will allow you to build a range skills and knowledge which can enhance your professional development. You will have the opportunity to apply and reflect on this new knowledge in relation to both your own learning and to your professional contexts.
With a combination of online and face-to-face teaching, you will be campus based with access to all of the University’s facilities and resources while also gaining practical experience of being an online distance learner. This experience of online learning will enhance your learning on the subject and also enable you to be a more effective leader or deliverer of online education.

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Upper Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- Normally, a 2:1 honours degree or international equivalent plus evidence of relevant professional experience.
Relevant professional experience could include teaching (at any level), education management, supervision or administration, software development, education publishing, education media, and roles involving the implementation, support or management of educational technologies. Other professional experience may be relevant and each case will be considered on its merits.
